New Song And Video that Fits the Mayor's Spending

Well our reporters are all around.  So just wanted to inform Homestead of what was seen this last weekend at the Speedway in Homestead.

1.  The Mayor calls for a Budget Cut? Then when Counsilwoman Waldman exposed to the public,  the raise of the City Manager, she was slammed by both. See Homestead Town Hall Meeting Budget number 2.

2.  Only  the City Manager and the Mayor recieved a raise. Very interesting, ha. Nothing was said about the Mayor's raise though. Wonder why?

3. So let’s get on what our reporters found while they were at the Speedway this weekend. The Mayor and all her "friends on counsel "were there except one and we also did not see Vice Mayor there either. The one that we noticed who was not there was Councilwoman Waldman. We only can assume that she had enough sense to see what was going on and she did not want to be part of this waste in spending that has been going on. Smart move. Also, just to inform the public last week there was a Taste of Waterstone. Well everyone was invited except Waldman and Vice Mayor why is that? I think the people in Homestead thought this was a team counsel. It is far from that from the way it looks to our reporters.

4.  Do you know all the previous years, at this event hot dogs and  hamburgers were served to those in "Skybox" and the city paid for this.  This year our reporters told us they were all eating, get this......FILET MINGON TIPS AND SHRIMP! THE CITY PAID FOR THIS ON YOUR BACKS.  Wish this time we had pictures as we usually do, but this time we dont.  If pictures were taking then we could not get the information on what we have to begin with. It would be hidden.  Sorry folks.  So either believe it or not this time.

Nice budget cuts Mayor and nice raise.

  1. Glad to see eyes are watching out for Homestead, thanks for the report. We are now going to vote for Bateman. The good ol boys need to get back and get those hormonal gals out.

  2. I don't know about good ol boys but I do know that Bateman has no special interest, and is an outstanding member of this community 37 years strong.
Lynda on the other hand has burned her last bridge in my opinion. Who can deal with her caviar dreams in this recession? If I'm footin the bill, than that lady should go hungry, she looks as if she needs shed a few pounds. Who is she kidding? She has got to go!

  3. Especially that Lobos gal, she needs to do a few rounds around the block intsead of eating our funds. It looks like these gals of 3 are in this for perks only. Not the interest of the people. Get them out, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. OK, this skybox menu has been in vogue for years and I know that Ms Waldman used to be the one in charge of the ordering and there was never a shortage of shrimp, filet mignon or wine, wine and more wine. HOWEVER, those were not the days when 26 people had just lost their city jobs and the tax rate had not just blown through the roof.
The whole skybox has to go. It is not neccesary and is not a marketing tool; it is only a budget buster that costs tens of thousands a year for the inner cirlce of leeches on both sides of this campaign. Two years ago, the Council package was worth about 40 grand; today I hear it is over 60g's... for a part time job in a down economy...with a great pension to boot.

  5. How much is the state of city address going to cost? Could it have been cancelled this year since we had to have such deep cuts?

  6. what and miss a chance to take credit for everything including the green in grass ?

  7. the taste of waterstone was a wasterstone 2 event only

waterstone 1 residents had nothing to do with it

the whole thing was a creation of alex diaz de villagas before he was fired as lyndas campaign manager

    ReplyDelete
  8. do you really believe he was fired? I think behind the scenes he is lurking and wants others to think he is not helping her.

but why dont they invite everyone? makes no sense

    ReplyDelete
  9. there was a "last minute" invite to waterstone 1

but that was alex's attempt to show that he was reaching out.

  10. As a former city employee I can assure you that Mrs. Waldman was never in charge of ordering the food or beverages for the skybox nor the garage suit. All food and beverages were ordered through the City Managers Office.

Each counsil person has the right to order extra food if they saw or thought there was not enough food to go around.

That menu was very limited to hot dog, chicken fingers, dip, etc.

    Get your facts straight.

  11. So from this comment I can see and hopefully residents can see that Alex is still working for the Bell team and trying to cover it up. Wonder if it was him that wrote this. If not, then it is still an admission by association regardless

It was Alex who was putting up Lynda Bells signs in his undercover police car. Was he on duty? Again wasting our money. Alex if you think you are not being watched guess again. Same goes for the rest of the 3 hormanal fat chicks.

By the way did Lobos get her fill? I know in her third world country they eat dog, so this must have been a treat.

  12. Ok the green in grass was funny ! Lol

  13. Judy Waldman PICKED OUT the menu items and then they were ordered through the managers office without question. She did this every year with Marlene Volkert. Go to the public records if there are any for the skybox expenses. You will see where she signed again and again for more food as what had been pre ordered was ravaged by the Waldman-Porter- Garner leeches.

"It was Alex who was putting up Lynda Bells signs in his undercover police car. Was he on duty?"

  15. Really, a police officer on duty putting up campaign signs??? How do you spell: CORRUPTION???

    ReplyDelete
  16. Were talking about filet mignon responder. Not ordering up hot dogs. Cant you see the difference? Not. Must be opposition. Cant take the heat? Get out of the kitchen. Chicken fingers, hotdogs etc. are completely different than FILET MIGION STRIPS and shrimp and did you ever think, that maybe this hormonal group of 3 insisted on her to reorder? I suggest you check out what you guys have done to ruin this city. Lets always play this.....pat me on the back, no, me first, no me....when will your ego's ever stop? Not soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  17. During the Warren years when Judy Waldman was the skybox hostess with the mostess, there was enough shrimp and filet mignon to choke a horse.

    ReplyDelete
  18. It is obvious that the person writing the posts in support of Ms. Waldman does not have a handle on any of the activities that went on prior to the present council. May I suggest you do your research before you whip out your poison pen? Go do a public records request, or even talk to the "privileged ones" that were given tickets to the city sky box so they could indulge, and over-indulge, on the smorgasbord at the city's expense! Ms. Waldman DID the ordering because she was "Parks and Rec. Chair" and that fell under her umbrella. AND not only did she do it, she took pride in having that power and being able to play hostess. She would say "I have x number of guests that I have to entertain...blah, blah, blah!"
Oh, and one more thing Patricia, you really should take some spelling and grammar classes,it really gives you away!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Maybe this person does support the other side. But it looks like the Mayor has got a wee bit mad. Now even calling out the one who was on her team. All I can say if it is not the Mayor's way its the highway. I know this, I use to work as a city employe, under her. This goes to show you she does not like the truth. Who cares about spelling and grammer? We get the point. That is all that matters. At least we see documents most of the time to back up what is said. Not like your friend Mayor. Put that in your pipe and smoke it along with your filet, shrimp and our tax dollars.

  20. I can see that now I have been dragged into this. I can also inform the public I was running against Garrote and Waldman. When I stepped out of this race, I had a choice to support whomever I wanted. Put the scales up, Garrot or Waldman? Waldman is who I decided to back. Any political candidate with any "integrity" always supports the candidate who they believe should win. By the way to let all know this now since I have been brought into this, my slogan was "Integrity" Mayor decided to take it. When asked what does it mean? Not one of them could answer and I was booed away. I insisted on an answer could not recieve one. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking. That is the definition of Integrity. I had plenty opportunities to have in depth reporters to do stories. I am always called. I could give one but decided not. I am very ill and have been in the hospital two times. The only one who calls me Patricia when mad is the Mayor, so I know Mayor you wrote this. However, I am not hidding behind Anonymous.

  21. It seems as though this food expense really has people upset. In the past, when there was a good economy, people had fun and did not care. In this economy with budget cuts this year don't you think your trying to compare apples to oranges? This is this year, not previous good years and times. So hotdogs and hamburgers should have been served. Who cares about previous years. This is this year we are talking about. Stop turning it around. You did what you did. You should have thought about it first.

    ReplyDelete
  22. This year, it IS about the money but it is also now and in the past about attitude. There seems to be this entitlement mentality among whomever is in office and their hangers-on. If you believe the city should continue to fund the skybox vittles, isnt a litle moderation in order ? This is akin to the manager not delaying his contractual raise. Do I hear a chorus of Let 'em eat cake as the manager deposits his raise and as Tim washes down another plate of warm cookies with a diet soda while watching the race from the glass tower on turn 1.

  23. Patty,
would love to hear the behind the scenes real story of why you really aren't on the Bell ticket. And weren't you FOR Angel before you were AGAINST him?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Patty,
I heard that Alex hacked into your e-mail and face book accounts and wrote a lot of un-thruths before you were on to him.
Isn't it true that Alex put that endorcement for angel on your facebook page, and you had to report the abuse to facebook just to get your FB page back. What a creep!
Patty I hope you feel better.

    Oh and to you anonymous,
didn't you read her post? She said her "integrity" kept her from making that mistake. They booed her when she questioned theirs. She also knew that Once you get linked with a crook in this town you'll always be linked to that crook, weather or not you are a crook yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  25. We know that hacking story has to be a bunch of bull droppings because if he did and he is a cop, there goes the badge.

    ReplyDelete
  26. internal affairs has investigated alex before and nothing happened.

    yawn.

    ReplyDelete
  27. He was doing all her facebook things from what I know. I saw it first hand. I know Patti very well and saw him over her house everyday. The mayor got very mad at him for trying to help her also. I had to change her passwords on all her accounts because not only that, someone kept coming into her home while she was not there. This is fact. We all know her and who comes and goes. She did not even know how to do or work the facebook until I showed her. So think what you want. But it is possible. She really liked Alex then all of a sudden no more Alex. Wonder why?

    ReplyDelete
  28. ....and if you believe that one, I have a baseball stadium in Homestead to sell you. Oh, wait, Judy and her chauffeur already tried that one !

    ReplyDelete
  29. maybe she saw alex going to internet dating sites on her computer and she didn't want to get involved

    ReplyDelete
  30. Then why don't you sell it Mayor? Or use it for other events.

Yes, he was over her home everday we here in Oasis saw him all different times. We even came in when he was doing things on the facebook and trying to help her. But the bully told him to stop helping her. Why would she do that when she wanted her on her team? jealous maybe? We know in Oasis how many times he was over.

You need to contact them and report what happened to you. Someone needs to stop this bully. He is a menace to our socity. Facebook needs to be notified as well. If cops go bad they are really, really BAD! they know all the loop holes, and all the cops. He will never get punished if we do nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Can i say one thing, SHUT THE F@#% up. You people are on a lifetime pissing contest into the wind. Who cares about Alex the cop, Pat who droped out, Batemans wife or even the freaking weather!!!!!

This election is about Homesteads past, present and future!!!

Not wether the filet mignon was ordered by Judy or the city manager.

How are these statemants benifiting you? and your future families that live here and are the future of homestead.

Just do one thing for me and people in tight situations like me. Give me a reason to support a candidate for them, not that the other candidate has friends who have made bad decisions, or they employ people with a history of criminal activity.

When i remember Homesteads past i remember a time this town was great to live in. Florida city was the bad place.

Remember when money is involved people change, so instead of bashing peoples families.

Be realistic all political money is a contribution with respect to what you will get back.

Show me or tell me who will make homestead prospe.

  33. can't we make a blog bashing alex

a lot of people don't like him so lets make a new one.
