OUR SISTER BLOG
This blog was created with the goal of the removal of Mayor Lynda Bell and her slate. The goal was accomplished with the clean sweep that occurred on November 3, 2009. Since this blog has accomplished its purpose, it will terminate at 6:00 PM on November 4, 2009 with the swearing in of the new Mayor and City Council. Thank you.

I am elated to say the least. The City is finally free from the nastiness and snotty remarks and looks that the ex-mayor made at every council meeting. I voted to put her in office years ago and did it because she confessed to be a christian woman and I knew the city needed someone with morals and Christ centered values but as the years went by my family and I watched her as she showed her true colors. Her words did not align with her actions and were definately not characteristics of a christian woman who serves GOD.. It appears that she was just another SUnday Christian, who goes to church for the people to see, but deep down they know they are not walking right and living the life. She may have fooled us ONCE, but you cant fool GOD, he sees all things and I am sure that is why she did not get re-elected. Hopefully she will draw near to GOD at this time and repent for the things she did and the way she acted and for the many people who she may have discouraged from wanting to be a christian after watching her.
ReplyDeleteI dont really know Mayor Steve Bateman. but what I saw from her definately told me that Id rather take a chance and get some change then stick with her again and be dissapointed. WE shall see. I pray for wisdom and for GODS guidance for the new council members. GOD bless you all and thank you to Lips over Homestead for bringing certain things to light.
